"2019 was another exciting year at the Selinsgrove Rudy Gelnett Memorial Library as we celebrated our 16th annual Tree Fest of Children’s Books. The Popular Choice winner was “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” decorated by the children at the Susquehanna Children’s Center (Summit Early Learning).
The decorations were made by children from age two to five while the second place winner was decorated by the seniors from the Selinsgrove Senior Center. Their selection was “Foxes Outfoxed.” This is what makes Tree Fest so exciting as the decorators come from all age groups.
The third place popular vote winner was a tree decorated by Seal’s Den who selected the book “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. The winner in the wreath division was the Susquehanna Valley Garden Club who chose the book “How to Catch and Elf”.
We thank all those who visited the library and supported it with their votes for their favorite trees and wreaths."
