"Tree Fest 2018 was another exciting year for us at the Selinsgrove Rudy Gelnett Library. One of the hi-lites for me was seeing the kindergarten classes at Selinsgrove Elementary school come to the library not only to see the trees and have stories read to them but also to participate in a scavenger hunt to find decorations on the trees. Since the trees and wreaths are decorated to depict the story in the book the children were able to use these clues in their hunt. Their excitement was infectious!
The books selected by the decorators this year were outstanding. Not only were the stories a delight to read but the illustrations were exceptional.
We thank all those who visited the library and supported it with their votes for their favorite trees and wreaths."
